Email Blacklist

I think there must be way to do it without getting an outside source, such as “mailwasher”. Any extra crap could potentially be spyware or etc…just want to know how to do it within the system.

I just would like to know how to block e-mails from a certain e-mail address? Not inclucing bulk mail.

Blocking them doesn’t stop them and asking them to not email me (i.e. keep their opinions in the YA forum and leave me alone) makes them harass me more. If you block someone in YA then shouldn’t they be disabled from using the public email function in your profile?

I still want other people to be able to email me so turning off the email function is not an option. I can’t mark their emails as spam in Yahoo mail because then all messages from YA members will be detected as spam. I just want them to not be able to email me via my profile when I have blocked them.

Is it a violation when a YA member abuses the email function to harass someone like this? What’s the most effective way to report it?

I recently started getting tons of spam in my yahoo email account and I’m not sure how to stop it. I downloaded CDex recently and unsubscribed from their lists but I think they may have given out my email address. What can I do?

When you attach images to an email, Outlook 2003 will automatically block the images and it makes the user have to click in the toolbar to allow Outlook to download the images. Is there a way to encrypt the images into the email so Outlook won’t block?

all this spam was definately a result of subscribing to Myspace. It is all dirty, and I have since unsubscribed, and I still receive it, 5-10 mails a day !

I keep getting this garbage stockmarket email from the same person daily, how can I permanently block it?

How can i trace out the email id so that i can reply him.
or atleast i need to trace out the email server so that i can mail to postmaster@emailserver. Pls find following info.
i have remove my id bcoz of security reasons. if i get a good reply i am ready for a clear point..

When you report spam, why does it not automatically put it on blocked addresses? The spam just keeps coming back.

I just switched over from a Yahoo to a .mac email account.
I had hoped the spam mail senders wouldn’t find me, but they have. However, with the .mac account, I can’t find any way to deal with the spam mail short of deleting it (the yahoo email has a “spam” key which reports it to Yahoo as spam and blocks the sender from sending you any more emails. I don’t see such a feature on the .mac account. If .mac has it, where is it? Or what can I do to get rid of the spam mail?

I know about the alias email address. But the spammers have found my real email!
