how do you block spam and fowarded messages in email?
its a waste of my time to read them or delete them. how do i block them completely?

Spammers do not forward email. Only your “friends” do that. Tell them you will automatically delete anything that is forwarded more than once and if they persist in doing it, you will remove them from your contacts list. And you block spam by using the Spam button in Yahoo, or having a good antispam program in whatever other email you use.
Gmail (Google) isn’t quite as bad yet. However, remember this: Yahoo is the world’s largest supplier of free email, so the world’s largest supply of spam is directed toward Yahoo users.
